Target Darts Aims for Bullseye with New Media Campaign

Target Darts is launching a new media campaign with Guerillascope across several countries.

The strategy – devised to expand the company’s customer-base and online visibility over the Christmas period – will span TV, social media and VOD. Television spots are scheduled to air throughout the World Darts Championship on Sky Sports, with further activity poised across the likes of BT Sports, Dave and Discovery Channel.

Target’s television presence will be amplified by further activity on Sky Go in the form of six-second pre-rolls, whilst video ads will target darts fans on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter across eleven countries: including Germany, France, the USA, Canada, Australia and the Czech Republic.

This year’s World Darts Championship marks the first time that women have been able to qualify, with two female competitors ready to lock horns with their male counterparts. One of the leading women in the world of darts, Lorraine Winstanley, takes centre-stage in Target’s television campaign; a reflection on the brand’s steadfast support for this long-awaited watershed moment and commitment to increasing female participation.
