The League Against Cruel Sports stands on the frontline of the fight to advance animal welfare. The charity has made a name for itself in recent years through a number of high-profile exposés and prosecutions related to the Hunting Act. In 2019 the League appointed Guerillascope as its agency partner for a new social campaign.

  • Working with our digital partners at Fifty, we developed bespoke, targetable audience ‘tribes’ based around personal details and interests shared on social profiles.
  • We then leveraged this data to coordinate paid social posts on Facebook and Instagram, testing different creative approaches to establish the most impactful combinations.
  • This was a constantly evolving campaign, with emergent insights allowing us to optimise activity and enhance its performance.
  • To demonstrate this point, the League was generating a Cost Per Acquisition of over £200 prior to the campaign’s launch in September 2019.
  • By August 2020, the CPA had been reduced by 71%.
  • To date, the League’s targeted social campaign has delivered over 400,000 impressions.
