Guerillascope Shortlisted For Best New Business Culture

Guerillascope is delighted to have been shortlisted under the Best New Business Culture category at the UK Agency Awards 2016.

On the back of securing a huge 83 new business accounts –  that’s over one every week – between the adjudicated period of January 2015 and June 2016, the company has been recognised for its ethos of supporting smaller businesses new to TV, with 71 of the clients won completely fresh to the market. In 2015, a year in which no other UK agency advertised more businesses on TV than Guerillascope, 9.4% of all new linear advertisers in the TV market could be attributed to yours truly.

Having grown from a start-up company ourselves, and as the only media agency that actually advertises on TV, we’re acutely aware of the trials and tribulations that come with growing a small business. We’ve experienced the transformative effect TV advertising can have on such companies, and have made it our mission to raise awareness around the ease, affordability and accountability with which any ambitious business can reach millions of potential customers.

With essentially half of all TV airtime now free as the result of non-chargeable zero-rated spots (those that attract an audience of less than 1,000 viewers) available on smaller niche channels, the lowering of TV advertising costs by 30% in real terms compared to a decade ago, and optimisation tools that significantly enhance the efficiency of campaign activity, the stage really is set for your business to step into the limelight.

We, of course, are here to help ambitious businesses every step of the way: from initial non-obligatory campaign planning, through to the continuous optimisation and tweaking of TV activity once launched, we've shown how targeted TV advertising can work for any business from just a few thousand pounds.

Commenting on the nomination, David Yorath, Guerillascope’s founder and managing director, said: “We are very proud to have been shortlisted for Best New Business Culture at the UK Agency Awards, which is just reward for the effort and ability demonstrated by our team day in, day out. However, whilst this is a time to be very satisfied with the work done so far, our ambitions go much further. There are hundreds of small and growing businesses that stand to benefit significantly from the power of TV advertising – a medium that time and again is proven to be more effective than any other – and we look forward to guiding many more to the next level.”
