England Rugby Travel Touches Down with TV Campaign



Guerillascope is pleased to announce the launch of the maiden television campaign from England Rugby Travel, the company that helps fans follow England to all the major international tournaments around the world.

Positioned to air during live Gallagher Premiership Rugby on BT Sport 1 and 2, as well as episodes of Rugby Tonight and other rugby related programming across the network, the 30-second ad will run throughout an initial two-week test burst; with the potential for further activity that coincides with key rugby events in the lead up to the Rugby World Cup 2019™. It features former England and British Lions star Ugo Monye, now a pundit on BT Sport.

England Rugby Travel specialises in supporter travel packages for tournaments including the 6 Nations, Quilter Internationals, Summer Tours and, of course, Rugby World Cup. Looking after everything from transport to accommodation, the service allows supporters to devote all their energies to cheering on the English team, wherever they are. There’s also exclusive access to special events, including Q&As with legends of England Rugby.

Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Matthew Boseley, Senior Marketing Manager at England Rugby Travel, said: “Using the high-level targeting facilitated by Guerillascope, we hope to hit the right audiences at the right time with our first ever TV commercial.

Our budgets for this type of marketing activity are not huge as we are more used to focussing on tactics with more measurable ROI metrics, but the reach outside our normal demographics, coupled with the advice that Guerillascope gave us throughout the process, should increase our Rugby World Cup 2019 sales.”
