Launched in 1992, G.O.L.D is a British television channel owned by the UKTV
Network. Known originally as UK Gold, it was revamped in 2008. Standing for Go
On Laugh Daily, the channel broadcasts British comedies from the BBC archives,
such as Keeping up Appearances, Only Fools and Horses and Men Behaving Badly.
Targeting a mixture of young and older viewers, G.O.L.D has gained favour for its
attention to the ‘classics’.
